Abstracts II

To repeat what I said in section one, these are not examples of my work. These are interesting failures that work well as filler when making composite images.
As with the first section, all of these pictures were made with large format cameras. The first twelve were made with an eight by ten view camera, and the second twelve were made with a four by five. The images were scanned from contact prints (proofs) of the negatives, and I did not crop, or retouch them at all.
I am sorry to say, that I did an even worse job of trimming these than I did those in the first section. This is because I whacked the 4x5s out of their 8x10 proof sheet with a large pair of scissors that don’t cut very straight.
The larger images, accessed by clicking on a thumbnail, are maximum quality JPEGs, and average approximately 30 seconds download time at 28.8 KBS. To download, go to the page with the larger image, and right click on the image.
