Elements 3,4, 5, and 6

The latest version of Elements was released in late September of 2007. And I still have not found the time to update this site. Soon. Maybe. I wish I had the time.
Most tutorials on this Web site will work the same in Elements Editor as they did for earlier versions. However, you will not recognize the interface, which may make it difficult for new users to follow the instructions.
I have made an version 3 toolbar page for the new, and different configuration of the tools in Elements 3. You can use the links on the toolbar image, or from the numbered text names next to it to find individual tool pages (not yet updated, but in most cases, not changed).

I have written a book, ‘Elementary School’, for beginning users of Elements 3, Elements 4, and now a new version, Elementary School 6 for users of Elements 6. The new book is six hundred thirty four pages long, and consists almost entirely of tutorials. There are one hundred and eighteen lessons, covering most aspects of Elements 6. [The versions of Elementary School for versions 3, 4, and 5 are still available; go here to find out more.
Below, you will find a link to a printable .pdf version of a sample chapter from the book. It contains a single tutorial which takes a quick tour of the features in Elements. Note that this lesson, necessarily, merely skims the surface of Elements.
Mac users, please note: the downloadable chapter was written for the Windows version of Elements.
