Now, we’ll take a look at Levels. It’s found at Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels. Version 5.5 users will find Levels by going to Layer > New > Adjustment Layer and choosing it from the dialog box’s menu.
     I made a typical correction, shown on the right, below, by moving the end sliders in to where image detail began. Pressing Alt while moving the sliders showed no clipping.
     The illustrations shown feature the version changed with Levels on the left, and the unmodified original image detail on the right.
